EARLY INTERVENTION

Early intervention is a therapeutic approach that applies during infancy and up to the age of 3 years, as this is the critical period for brain development and learning. Depending on each child, an alternative way of communication or a way of strengthening and producing speech is selected to help the child express their needs. The importance of early speech therapy even extends to the child’s future performance at school and in many cases reduces the risk of learning disability.
