EVALUATION

Speech evaluation is one of the most important steps as it collects information about a child’s characteristics, abilities and needs. Information can be gathered through play, observation and weighted tools (tests). Based on the above, the speech therapist plans the child’s therapy according to their needs and capabilities. It is important to mention that each child is different, so the specialist must follow an individualized therapeutic intervention program.
